Yes. The activities are carried out in groups with an instructor. Activity schedules are created based on demand. We cannot guarantee that activities will run if they have not been booked in advance. A deposit will be required at the time of booking.
With showers or unexpected summer rain the park continues to operate as normal. In case of storms or strong winds, the park closes. As it is completely immersed in nature, the instructor will be able to assess the best course of action long before the bad weather arrives. In case of adverse weather conditions you will receive an automatic message notifying you of the park’s closure.
Flip-flops, sandals and all open footwear are not accepted, to guarantee a better hiking experience. We recommend: sneakers (or hiking or trail boots), backpack, k-way and, in the cooler months, sweatshirt or jumper. When in the stream, a swimming costume and shoes you can get wet are sufficient.
You can leave bags or other items, including valuables, at the reception (base), where they will be kept separately along with your reservation name.
As we are inside the Apuan Park area, we have a small parking lot for exclusive use in front of the reception. There are also other parking spaces a little further away from which you can reach the reception in just a few minutes.
The duration of each activity is indicated in the specific sections.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult, who must fill in and sign an informed consent form and check that they always follow the safety rules
To access the park you must be over 8 years old (130 cm), but it also depends on the child’s experise. For the activities, see the dedicated sections or request information
Activities require physical effort and significant care and attention, both in the aerial course and on the natural paths. The upper limit is 130kg, provided the individual’s fitness level is sufficient.
We have 3 toilets:
- 1 at the River Trekking base (in the village)
- 1 at the park’s reception area (green toilet)
- 1 at the base camp, a compost toilet, for overnight stays in tents
Your 4-legged friends (2 if it is a bird) are always welcome in the park, but unfortunately they are not compatible with most activities. In this case, please ask if our dog sitter service is available.
There is no type of restaurant in the park due to strict environmental constraints, but the local area had much to offer
